12 TON Hydraulic Shop Press with GAUGE
By: Bruce Pierson on 6 February 2019This shop press is very well constructed and compares very favourably with other similar units on the market. When I was looking into getting a shop press, I looked at several different units and with all things considered. I chose this one as being the best overall. The price was also very competitive and this unit was actually cheaper (on special) than some of the lower capacity shop presses that were available, both online and locally. The main drawback with this unit was the cost of the freight, with not being able to pick it up locally. However, the freight price was very competitive and the total price paid for the unit, including freight, was actually less than a lower capacity shop press that was available locally. My only complaint about the unit was the cheap junk cardboard box that the manufacturer used for shipping the unit, which was actually broken (the box) with parts falling out when the unit arrived. This of course was beyond the control of Wholesale Superstore, as they have no control over what the manufacturer uses to pack their products in. I did suggest that it would be a good idea to wrap the box in plastic before dispatch, as this would help to ensure that the unit arrived safely. Overall, I am very happy with this unit so far, although I have yet to assemble it when my new workshop is finished, but I'm sure it will meet and exceed my needs.
