Our new 7x7 Wire Rope is made fully from polished 316 marine grade stainless steel. It consists of 7 wound groups of 7 wound strands.

Should I go with 1x19 or 7x7?
1x19 is slightly higher in strength, but lower in flexibility. It has a cleaner and shinier overall appearance. The lack in flexibility makes this cable optimal for the Jaw/ Swage Bottle Screw System due to the fact that this system does not require the cabble to be wrapped around a thimble.
7x7 is higher in flexibility but has a lower breaking load. It is optimal for use in conjuction with the Turnbuckle System which relies on the cable being tightly wrapped around the thimble.
Please note, however, that each option will work with any of our fittings, it may just require more work and a bit of extra force to construct.
